The report sets our three new discretionary charges for environmental health – enhanced contaminated land reports, pre-application advice for acoustics, contaminated land and air quality; and advice visits for businesses (new and material changes).
RESOLVED –
1. That the adoption of discretionary charges for pre-application planning advice on acoustic, air quality and contaminated land assessments be approved.
2. That the adoption of discretionary charges for Enhanced Contaminated Land reports be approved.
3. That the adoption of discretionary charges for advice to businesses for food hygiene be approved.
REASON FOR DECISION:
To better support the delivery of these services to businesses and residents across a wide range of areas and the allowance for the recovery of some of the costs provided by this specialist resource.
