The purpose of a neighbourhood development plan is the means by which a local community can take responsibility for land use planning in their area, potentially covering matters such as the location of houses, shops and community facilities, the setting of design standards for new development or the identification and conservation of local heritage assets and green spaces.
RESOLVED - That the table of comments presented in Appendix A to the associated report be submitted, on or before 22 September 2022 as the Borough Council’s representations to the Regulation 16 consultation on the Sevenoaks Town Neighbourhood Development Plan.
It is considered that the policies contained in the Sevenoaks Neighbourhood Plan are in general conformity with the strategic policies of the borough council and have regard to the National Planning Policy Framework and any other relevant legislation.
Not to submit comments as part of the Sevenoaks Town consultation process.
No conflicts of interest were declared by any Member who was consulted in respect of this decision.
