Purpose:

To release £20,000 of developer contributions to Southeastern for improvements to cycle parking that has been installed at Paddock Wood Station. 

Decision:

RESOLVED – That Tunbridge Wells Borough Council transfers £20,000 to South Eastern as a S106 contribution in arrears for the provision of secure cycle parking at Paddock Wood Station be approved.  The funding to be made up from planning obligation agreements for Mascalls Court Farm (TW/14/506766), totalling £13,711.53 and Church Farm (TW/14/504140), totalling £6,288.47. 

 

Reasons for the decision:

To comply with the planning obligation agreements and to encourage and facilitate active travel in the Borough. 

Alternative options considered:

Do Nothing – There are no other options currently available that would accord with the terms of the s106 agreements or the decision of the Planning Committee.
