Agreeing the project meets the terms of the s106 agreement and is the recommended and most durable option to upgrade the play equipment and other improvements to the sports facilities.
Do Nothing – This may result in further deterioration of the already worn play equipment and basketball goals and in removal of the equipment once it becomes unsafe to use. As the funding expires in 2028, doing nothing may result in paying the sum back to the developer.
Delaying the decision to a later date may result in increased costs for material and labour.
No conflicts of interest were declared by any Member who was consulted in respect of this decision.
