Purpose:

The release of s106 funds held by Tunbridge Wells Borough Council totalling £10,815.00 from the development in Henwood Green Road (Planning Ref: 17/00756) as a contribution towards improvements of Youth and Adult facilities.  

Decision:

RESOLVED – That developer contributions totalling £10,815.00 received through a planning obligation  at Henwood Green Road (Planning Ref: 17/00756) be allocated and released to Pembury Parish Council towards the development at Lower Green Recreation Ground be approved. 

Reasons for the decision:

The allocation of funds would contribute towards the project set out by Pembury Parish Council that would add play value to the recreation ground and improve the facilities for disabled users of the pavilion. 

Alternative options considered:

Do Nothing – The agreement is specific towards the use of the funding and failure to allocate the money would result in the funds being paid back to the developer.
