Announcement on procedural matters.

The Chairman opened the meeting, introduced the members of the Sub-Committee panel and the officers in attendance, then outlined the procedures for the Hearing. The Licence Holder and their representative were also introduced.

To receive any declarations of interest by members in items on the agenda.  For any advice on declarations of interest, please contact the Monitoring Officer.

No declarations of interest were made by members at the meeting.

Zoe Martin, Animal Licensing Officer, presented her report as set out in the Agenda, taking Members through the evidence collated within the Appendices.

Members were given the opportunity to ask questions of Licensing Officer and her Team Leader, who had also been involved with the Premises.

The Licence Holder and their representative were then given an opportunity to speak and Members of the Panel were then able to ask questions of them.

Final summaries were heard and the meeting was then closed for Members’ deliberations.

Following the deliberations, the Legal Advisor Helen Ward read the Chair’s statement, in which the Panel had decided to follow the Officer’s recommendation and revoke the  licence with effect from 1 November 2022.
