Apologies for absence as reported at the meeting.

Apologies for absence were reported from Independent members Mrs Hough and Mr Shiels and from Town Councillor Henshaw.

There were no declarations of interest made within the provisions of the Code of Conduct for Members.

The Democratic Services Officer advised that the purpose of the meeting had been to make appointments to the Constitution Review Working Party for 2018/19. However, he said that, as there had not been a full consultation process carried out with political group leaders, the sensible course of action to take was to defer the appointments until the July meeting of the Committee.

RESOLVED – That the appointment of members to the Constitution Review Working Party take place at the July meeting of the Committee.
