Aims and Objectives of the Organisation:

 

To provide Almshouse accommodation for needy residents of Tunbridge Wells.

 

Role and responsibility of the Council representative

eg. Observer, Trustee, Board Member, Observer

 

Trustee and is a full member.

What does the Organisation hope to achieve through the relationship?

To act as Trustee (one of nine) to govern the operations of the Trust.

 

 

How often are the meetings held, venue and time?

It meets quarterly at 7.30pm.  Meetings are held at Canon Mantle Lodge, St Paul's Church, Rusthall in January, April, July and October.

 

What skills/experience/interests would be desirable from the Council’s representative?

Interest in housing, finance and maintence.  Training and introduction will be given as and when.

What arrangements are in place to indemnify board members against the risk of personal liability?

 

No, however, this is being addressed.
