Aims and Objectives of the Organisation:

The General Assembly is the main body to represent the interests of local authorities. It aims to support, promote and improve local government in England and Wales

Role and responsibility of the Council representative

eg. Observer, Trustee, Board Member, Observer

Representative of the Borough Council and is entitled to speak and vote.

What does the Organisation hope to achieve through the relationship?

To represent TWBC and contribute to the discussions.

How often are the meetings held, venue and time?

Meets once yearly in June/July.  The annual meeting is held in conjunction with the Annual Conference which is held in a different venue each year.
